The Laps for Love Challenge is a national fundraising and awareness initiative powered by the Fast Laps, Open Hearts Foundation. Through the sport of dirt track racing, we unite drivers, fans, tracks, and communities to support children and families impacted by developmental disabilities and special needs.

Each participating driver races not only for the checkered flag, but for a greater purpose. Supporters pledge donations per lap or through one-time gifts, turning every lap completed into meaningful support for families who need it most.

This program was created by parents who understand firsthand the challenges and joys of raising children with special needs. What began as a local effort has grown into a movement built on compassion, inclusion, and community pride.

How It Works

Drivers from participating tracks across the country register as Foundation Ambassadors and commit to fundraising throughout the season. Fans, businesses, and supporters then back their favorite drivers by pledging per lap or making direct donations.

Example:
If a supporter pledges $3 per lap and a driver completes 25 laps, the total donation is:

$3 × 25 laps = $75

Supporters may also choose to give a flat donation if they prefer.

All funds raised support:

• Camp and enrichment opportunities for children with special needs

• Essential supplies and resources for families

• Community outreach and awareness programs

• Inclusion-focused initiatives at partner tracks and events

Every contribution helps create access, opportunity, and belonging.
